JoTTO FAIR
JoTTO Fair is the event where the research carried out by the six Italian Schools of Advanced Studies participating in JoTTO meets the business world.
JoTTO Fair, now in its fourth edition, aims to become a permanent meeting point for the exchange of research results with a greater focus on industry.
The first edition of JoTTO FAIR - Research meets Business - took place on 15 September 2017 in Pisa, at the Scuola Normale Superiore and the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna. The second edition took place on 10 May 2019 at the Scuola IMT Alti Studi Lucca. Due to the COVID19 pandemic, a reduced edition was held entirely online and organised by the Scuola Universitaria Superiore IUSS PAVIA in November 2021.
This year the JoTTO Fair will return as a face-to-face event and will take place in Lucca at the IMT School on February 21, 2025.
The event will be organized according to a consolidated format for similar events, the “matchmaking”, i.e. bilateral meetings between researchers and companies with a personalized agenda managed through the online platform B2Match. In such a platform, both researchers and companies have to fill out their resumes to stimulate mutual interest, so allowing the meeting plan during the event. Furthermore, the researchers of the six Schools showed their main fields of research and competencies in short minutes pitch.
