JOTTO TAKES PART TO THE BORSA DELLA RICERCA 2023

Borsa della Ricerca is an initiative created by the Emblema Foundation to encourage contact between the world of academic research (teams, departments, spin-offs), start-ups, companies, incubators, and investors (public and private) through an interaction format aimed at encouraging technological transfer and economic support for research.

The annual forum of the Borsa della Ricerca was held in Catania from 25 to 27 October 2023 and also this year JoTTO took part in it with the participation of 11 structures, including new-born or emerging Spin-Offs and research groups and some representatives of the Technology Transfer Office of the JoTTO Schools. This year's edition was also enriched by the participation of representatives of the PNRR projects active in our country as a further opportunity for collaboration between the world of research and that of business.

The following Research Team or Spin-Off Companies took part in the event: SISSA mathLab of the International School for Advanced Studies SISSA; MOMILAB, Molecular Mind Laboratory, of IMT School of Advanced Studies Lucca; the Laboratories EMBEDLAB@SNS, molecular properties of systems EMBEDded in external environments, NEST, National Enterprise for nanoScience and nanoTechnology and the Spin-Off Companies VIS - Virtual Immersions in Science, INTA Srl and Off Planckian of Scuola Normale Superiore and the Spin-Off Companies Accelerat Srl, AIVESP Srl and SoundSafe Care Srl of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna.

Some of the above-mentioned Laboratories or Spin-Offs presented themselves in a short pitch and, in the intense matchmaking session, all the participants of the JoTTO network were able to meet numerous companies and investors among the over 150 present to consider and discuss possible collaboration and commercial partnership opportunities.
